Winging it is fun sometimes, but when it comes to a marketing campaign it really needs to be thought out.
With each campaign you need to focus on a few simple things:
- Who’s your target market or niche
- Your theme- you can make it weekly or a daily theme.
- What is your end goal? Sales, Likes, Comments, Shares, Bookings, Recruits, etc
- The length of your campaign
- How are you going to get the word out? Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Blog, Email?
I like to schedule mine Sunday – Saturday, but you can schedule yours how ever you like!
Most platforms you choose to market on now allows you to pre-schedule your posts for FREE.
Facebook customer groups allows you by using their drop down option. (Mobile View, but is also available on a tablet or computer)
Facebook Business Pages & Instagram by using their new Creator Studio (must have a business page in order to use this feature)
Pinterest also allows you to schedule your posts as long as you upgrade to their free business account.
Blogs, and email providers such as mail chimp will also allow you to schedule when your posts will be seen, or sent out.
Now, some of you are like… well that’s being lazy, you should manually post these things…
Here’s the thing… YOU ARE! You just aren’t doing it at that very moment in time. These posts aren’t magically appearing, you are still taking the time to create them and schedule them out.
You will receive notifications from your platforms when these post and you will still be able to comment and interact with your customers, just as you did before.
What this does is you get the peace of mind of not forgetting to post. Life gets crazy busy at times, and people tend to forget, and what happens? Your algorithm fades, meaning that when you do post they won’t be getting seen by as many people.
So if you’re like me and like to have it all mapped out ahead of time, stay tuned because I have something up my sleeve I’m working on!
